200
200 is the newest drink outpost in Bar-ville, aka the Lower East Side. Booze hounds will be pleased to know that Ben Kay, the designer behind West Village dives like Red Lion and Slane, was in charge of the layout. He has plenty of experience helping you justify another beer (go for the Sixpoint Sweet Action or Lagunitas Chezch Pilsner), and this spot is no exception. The wooden walls create a truly laid-back feel, so you'll have six rounds before you know it. This neighborhood-y space also comes equipped with a private back room, which is great for large groups who want to watch the game on one of their TVs. To distinguish themselves from the other area dives, they brought out their secret weapon: a panini press. They've got ciabatta bread loaded with things like grilled chicken, pesto and mozzarella. Stop by for their cheekily named end of the week party. The Sunday Soul-cial promises soulful hits from the ‘50s and ‘60s. With a little groovin' to the tunes, your Monday hangover will be so worth it.
