Anchored Inn
After spots like The Drink appealed to those who like to say "yo-ho-ho" with their bottle of rum, does Brooklyn really need another nautically-themed bar? Come on, do sailors (and hipster types) like to drink? This drink spot doesn't overdo it on the seafaring style—there are a few paintings of sailboats hanging up, and a wooden walkway leading to a small balcony that looks like it's straight from Captain Ishmael's boat. The space is dingy, but do you really care after kicking back drafts like Blue Point and Six Point (answer: no). There's also beer and shot specials if you need help getting your sea legs and a late night happy hour that provides a good reason to drop anchor here into the wee hours of the morning. There's just one thing you need to bring to steady this ship: boating related puns, and plenty of ‘em.
