42nd Street is hardly the heart of the blues, but at this spacious, acoustically-superior McVenue, the genre’s heavy hitters like Robert Cray, The Funk Borthers and Dr. John (along with the occasional hip-hop act) play as if it were a Mississippi juke joint. But bring your wallet: It’s just gonna cost you over $30 a ticket and $17 for a Jack and Ginger.
