Carriage House

- Price range: $ (Under $9)
Somehow the Carriage House slipped through the cracks. For all of the strollers, hipsters and yuppies, the Carriage House has held true to its original character. A holdout from a different era, this throwback bar offers football and beer with tacky blow up promotional balloons that the rest of the neighborhood undoubtedly hates. While just two blocks away, the Brooklyn Burger Bar struggles for an identity appropriate for its location, the Carriage House provides breath of fresh, unpretentious air. It is inappropriate and it is fantastic. Go Saturday night for karaoke as it was meant to be.
