Walk down a few grubby stairs at the unmarked address and enter a subterranean grotto of white-tiled, red boothed drinking, like a charming subway station of yore, except all the lights are low, all the people are good looking and you're allowed to booze it up without fear of getting ticketed by the police. (They're drawing parallels between Chloe and the Beatrice Inn, so your best bet is to make a reservation.)

what New Jersey thinks the LES is. plenty of more authentic places nearby, this one is laughable.
