The long-delayed booze venture from the folks behind Cake Shop has finally risen to its feet—Double Windsor, as it is known, focuses on cask and craft ales as well as a handful of specialty classic cocktails, all mixed behind its attractive horseshoe bar. The accompanying food menu from chef and co-owner Paul Cacici (of Egg) is a significant step above standard pub grub, with dishes like a duck confit sandwich with fig jam and arugula. The wood floors and handsome setting don't hurt, either.
