A scene for fools

The vibe eminating from the door was inviting enough, and as others have noted, the place was packing. So it must be good, right? Well, the clientele were rude and self-absorbed, full of sneers and haughty pretense. The only thing worse were the bartenders. After waiting a ridiculously long time for a drink -- seated at the bar -- the bartender literally threw my change (paper money, not coins) in my general direction. Very strange.

At least before I finished my first and last drink, I had the pleasure of watching three obnoxious, overly made-up female customers flirt shamelessly with their bartender. It was a delight to hear them squeal with pleasure when he pulled his martini shaker under the bar, out of their sight, filled it with WATER, shook it and "topped them off." At least they were getting their $12 bucks worth.

My bottom line - EO is for the young and naive.

I wanted to love EO but my few times here have always been disappointing. The drinks are mixed well but its a total scene here - the bar area is so narrow and always crowded, its just not enjoyable.
