Obviously the last reveiwer got rubbed the wrong way. Personally, I have nothing bad to say about this bar. I have been going here for years. I think the bartenders are fun and friendly, and if you treat them right, are happy to buy you a beer or a shot. The Jukebox is great, and the drinks are cheap. I love that you can get a nice 12 year scotch with your $3 High Life. The occasional live music is great too. Wonderful place to relax with friends on weeknights, and lively and loud on weekends. Highly reccomended. In a city this big someone is bound to get a bug up their bum about something, so go see for yourself.
Report This ReviewI don't know why a dive bar needs to be pretentious. Ask the bartenders. Awful service. Nasty attitude. It's is the final straw. it used to be authentic, dive-ish. But Now it's just ridiculous and stuck up. Don't hope for good service unless you're dressed to the bartender's liking (e.g., pseudo retro eighties). I'm headed up the street, and I hope you are too.
