good alternative to meatpacking/chelsea scene

Overall rating:

Good for a night out, Happy Ending usually has a fun crowd and good music playing. More of an overall club vibe than a bar but fun nonetheless and a good middle ground for when you feel like dancing but not venturing into meatpacking/chelsea.

I came here in early november for my best friend's birthday and def. had a great time. The music was loud and playing the most danceable stuff. There was a huge college crowd, think students from FIT(ladies) and future stock brokers(gents). The drinks were okay, but a little pricey for the lack of liquor in them. Maybe I'm a heavy drinker, or maybe this is New York? Either way, in the end it was worth every penny seeing that everyone enjoyed themselves and couldn't get enough of [their] happy ending. ;)
