This lounge and restaurant, located on scenic Irving Place, boasts a slick, L-shaped space centered around an island bar, where diners relax over drinks or enjoy a full meal. Unfortunately, it also boasts a young, clearly new to the city crowd on weekends. During the week, it's less of a scene, and a better choice to take advantage tasty house cocktails like the Southern Twist (Absolut Citron and Peach Pucker, topped with a lemon twist) all under $10. In the lounge, inexpensive small plates are offered like salt-baked bliss potatoes filled with caramelized onions, smoked bacon and Gruyere cheese, and the popular Haloumi cheese on baby arugula leaves and crushed black pepper.
