Both restaurant and polished lounge, One's shadowy, sexy space is attractive and undoubtedly on par with the standards of the neighborhood and its inhabitants. The décor is rich, blending plenty of requisite candlelight, exposed brick and mirror with ultrasuede and leather. Sit back on a low-slung banquette and sip glossy cocktails like the $14 Grey Goose pear martini, blueberry mojito or the fresh watermelon martini. DJs spin hip-hop and dance tracks, though the lack of a true dance floor can be frustrating especially after a couple of those cocktails. The crowd has a noticeably different feel Sunday-Wednesday and slowly creeps towards B&T and die-hard scenesters on weekends.
