Yep, even the local sports bar has a club hidden in the basement these days. In fact, aside from being a few cuts above the average sports bar—throwback sports decor and an old-timey vibe, 20-foot LED ticker built right into the American ash bar, restaurant-quality food —SNAP also has subterranean club designed by nightlife vet, Steve Lewis (who designed the sports bar). As the name implies, Stash is tucked away behind an unmarked door, which leads to a modestly-sized room flanked by mohogany and hickory jewel box-style parquet walls/foor plus a domed ceiling of red and gold mosaic tiles. Which is to say: a fairly ornate room. Further implications of the name are a few dozen drawers in the tables and banquettes for lightening your load on the way to the bar serving fresh-fruit-driven libations from the Mulberry Project crew.
