The SkinNY seems to have appeared quietly and overnight has found its place in the Lower East Side annals. Part local bar and part lounge, the towering ceilings emphasize the sleek, narrow bar (for which the joint is named) and abundant seating areas. On weekends, DJs delight with an eclectic mix of punk, rock, funk, and pop. Expect a pool table upstairs, lots of comfy couches, the work of local artists adorning the walls and reasonable prices.
