Under the radar is what this hidden jewel should be called, especially given its location. Across the street from jam-packed heavyweight The Ginger Man and on the same block as other major megapubs, this easygoing affair is dark and intimate, with a surprisingly semi-bookish crowd (a shock given the neighborhood) and a chatty, accomodating staff. Known for stocking over 40 kinds of tequila, Volcano also offers a nice array of gin and over 20 beers.
