First there was Milk & Honey. Then there was East Side Company Bar. Now joining Sasha Petraske's mini-empire of warm and clubby watering holes is the railroad-style White Star, where the drink of the day, week, month and year is always absinthe, with a handful of others—scotches, tequilas, beer and wine—available straight up. It's a "spirits bar" where shakers and juice are verboten and the emphasis is on the quality booze. You'll recognize the bar's name in the Moroccan-style drop lights, which are also called, not surprisingly, white stars.
