Making moves to become one of the East Village's top new spots, Arlo & Esme (formerly the slightly odd East Village Yacht Club) has undergone major renovations and so far, seem to be drawing a cool, down to earth crowd and offers three spacious rooms, a pool table, dance floor and a projection screen playing old school flix. Their weekly party, "Girls + Boys," features rock, Brit-rock, electronica and more, as spun by DJs Alex English, rekLES, Bradley D, VDRK, Kids with Sankes, Bad Decision and Famous Friends. It's also a haven for after-parties, having hosted shindigs for IAMX, Bumblebeez and more.
