Every Thursday, gals in desperate need of some PWCs (our lingo for post-work cocktails) needn’t look farther than Midtown hideaway Lea Lounge, where ladies drink free starting at 8 p.m. and, if they choose, can continue imbibing until closing. Tucked away in the Helmsley Building, Lea boasts a wine list curated by Le Cirque's sommelier, a potent cocktail list ("Boy Toy Martini" anyone?), and an impressive sushi and tapas selection. Granted, there might be more than a couple of after-work suits unwinding alongside you, but it's a small price to pay for gratis cocktails given out solely because of your sex. And hey, they're probably just as thrilled as you are for the gals-only open bar.
