Mainly an after-work destination attempting to be a tad more upscale than it technically is, bi-level Katwalk caters mainly to the (mostly male) corporati populating the neighborhood, though it would appear they're working overtime to entice patrons of the fairer sex—and seem to have resorted to stereotype to do it.
Every Wednesday, it's "Sex and the City Night,"
where folks can not only enjoy a host of
episodes past on a giant movie screen, but also themed drink specials
like "Carrie Cosmos," "Miranda Martinis," "Mr. Big
Shots," and "Sex Wine." In a seemingly extra-desperate attempt to woo
the gals, they promise free appetizers for parties of eight or more, along
with prizes and giveaways.
In a city that’s seemingly open-minded about most things, we can't help but
wonder: If a group of 8 “Sex and the City”-loving guys come by, are they ineligible
for the free apps?
