After a long-delayed opening, this Eastern-European-style Williamsburg beer hall and biergarten is finally open for business. A veritable haven for beer geeks, Radegast offers 40 select bottles and 13 on tap (in 24-oz pints!) of hard-to-find European imports like Hacker Pschorr Weisse and Leipziger Gose. Also worth noting is the retractable roof that allows swillers to do their thing in the open air. The feel is typical 1800s beer hall, with an abundance of wood, communal tables, a circular bar and portraits of various German heroes overseeing the action. The grub walks an expectedly gamey line, with offerings that include chicken and rabbit liver pate, roasted quail in dunkel beer sauce with roasted asparagus, steak tartare and veal schnitzel with scallion sour cream potato salad.
