The sibling of titanic beer vendor Draft Barn (down in Bay Ridge) offers South Park Slopers willing to walk more than 10 minutes 200 different kinds of beer, plus hearty American bar fare, in its tastefully medieval interior. A handful of flat screens don't diminsh the tavern appeal, with stone arches, wooden tables and rustic nooks—lit by rough and wrought-iron chandeliers—providing a hearty lodge atmosphere for good, old-fashioned imbibing. Will the awkward, no-man's-land location hurt business or add fuel to the "buy property in Gowanus" fire? Only time shall telleth.
