Bowlmor Lanes has got a long-running alley down near Union Square, but the management behind this new outpost thinks that NYC still has an appetite for bowling. A 50-lane appetite. The lanes are divided into seven distinct bowling lounges, each of which represents an iconic era in the life of The Big Apple. You can roll a strike in 1960s Times Square or in a replica of Central Park. For those of you who think 50 is a good score, there is plenty to do in this bi-level complex besides bowl. Famed NYC chef David Burke is behind the grub at the on-site restaurant, Stadium Grill. He's concocted a menu of hearty bar grub—look for dishes like cornbread-crusted crab-cake bites and the "Jersey Boy," a filet mignon–and–grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes, bacon, egg and hollandaise. Much like the Bowlmor downtown, this alley also plays host to a club dubbed Tribeca Loft. This space is good for those who want to get their groove on—it's easier than you think to dance off a night of nothing but gutter balls.
