No nightclub rebirth has received as much attention as the opening of Avalon in the church that was once Limelight. Avalon's new owners also run large clubs in Boston and Los Angeles, and they changed the feel completely, adding lots of backlit lounges and a generally chilled-out vibe, except in the main room, where top DJs hold forth and dancing always ensues. GBH's Saturday parties are always reliable events.
