If the crowd out front wasn't your first clue as to the slight headache this club is sure to cause, perhaps the dramatic wall of fog projected on a large screen as you enter is the tip-off. Once inside, the air is heavy with the steam of one-too-many bodies packed inside—some of which are actually dancing, but most just milling around. Florescent blue and purple lights flicker on shiny white banquettes, while rotating DJs spin hip-hop, house and pop tunes. Needless to say, Myst is more than a tad...much for the true New Yorker, as it caters primarily to a young-ish, NYC-transplanted crowd who adore promoted parties—yet would potentially rather be at Marquee or Bungalow 8.
