Angels and Kings

Fall Out Boy front man and Angels & Kings co-owner Pete Wentz’ East Village spot isn’t as celebrity-soaked as you might think. Occasionally, his name draws an US Weekly-loving crowd—for which the joint dutifully sets out the velvet ropes on weekends. On weekdays though, it’s a pretty standard local crowd enjoying creative mid-priced cocktails and a changing roster of events and specials. The décor is generic opulence with an edge—think giant chandeliers with lowlit scarlet bulbs, plenty of exposed brick, comfy banquettes stocked with pillows and suspended celebrity mugshots for added "badass" cache.
