Bruar Falls
- Neighborhood: Williamsburg
- 245 Grand St.
- Brooklyn, NY 11211
- Price range: $ (Under $9)
Brought to you by the same team behind Cake Shop and Library Bar, the rustic, scrappy and moderately sized music venue and bar Bruar Falls offers a much-needed Grand Street oasis for late-night bands and low-key dance parties. The small stage in back offers a platform for up-and-coming bands, while the handsomely rustic bar space in front (plus Pac Man table) offers a relaxed spot for drinking and/or music listening. The low, pressed-tin ceilings throughout give the space a cozy, homey vibe.
(And in case you're curious, the real Falls of Bruar are a series of picturesque waterfalls in Scotland. The more you know.)
