The menu, while infused with Deep South accents, relies heavily on a satisfying blend of Caribbean, Italian, Asian and Latin cuisines. Try a "Soul Sushi" roll: fully cooked soul food specialties rolled and cut maki-style, like the Last Dragon Roll (chicken, avocado and applewood smoked bacon topped with mini crabcakes and served with a spicy chipotle aioli.) The signature drink offerings are not only extensive but whimsical, with expertly-mixed cocktails like Sex in the Inner City, What Had Happened Was..., Kung-Fu Grip and Kool-Aid Kooler. Catch R&B open mic night on Wednesdays as well as a list of live jazz performances, DJs and events. In addition, the red-hued, plush atmosphere is peppered with the work of local artists.
