Inside Pedro's, a sunless and semi-subterranean grotto, is where you order beers or food and go to the bathroom. And that's about it. No one was sitting at the bar or the few dingy tables, which makes sense when you realize there's no reason to not be outside. Or if there was—as in, if it were raining or the seats were all full—you'd just go to another bar.

Bottom line: Pedro's dreamy slice of sidewalk is an ideal place to spend a sunny late afternoon or an early evening. Bonus: a surprisingly nice bathroom.
