A couple blocks away from 68 Jay is ReBar, a formerly-industrial cavern trying to overcome its lovely yet overwhelming austerity with multi-colored lanterns, fancy draught beer and wall murals. It's a weirdly laid out space, with giant areas for drinking and dining, separated/decorated by spider-webby wrought iron, as well as a private area for events like the one happening tonight in which people were quietly playing pool and wearing masks.
