Up next—Kemia, the semi-secret Moroccan hideaway tucked underneath North African-influenced French restaurant Marseille. As soon as we strolled in, we were immediately taken with the luscious ambiance: pink curtains draped from the ceiling, palm plants, rich murals and lots of candlelight and hanging lanterns. This contrasted with the deafeningly loud Middle Eastern music being spun, but that just seemed to further encourage the group of young women getting down on the dance floor.
