Ah, NY Perks. Something of an enigma in the thicket of hipster heaven, we were naturally curious about Smith Street's only black-owned-and-patronized lounge. After somewhat awkardly strolling into the curtained-off vestibule, we were told it's $10 to get in. Hmmm. We had to think about that one. We thanked them and let them know we might be back later. They couldn't have possibly cared any less, either way.
