Bourbon Street Bar

Next, we wandered up the block to check out Bourbon Street Bar, where we were confronted with a line to get in. After working our magic at the door, we wiggled our way through the packed crowd of obvious college kids to the bar where we discovered the reason such a fire hazard existed: 50-cent draft beers!

We ordered one round, unlike other patrons stockpiling seven at a time as if a major hurricane were imminent and there’d be no access to food or water. Clearly, this modus operandi had begun to affect some, as a group of girls balanced the plastic Bud Light cups on their heads. Look Ma, no hands!
