Just because the concerts and film series held in McCarren Park Pool are no longer doesn't mean that park-goers no longer have an interest in drinking nearby. On the contrary, there's plenty of weekend kickballing and softballing, as well as intense strolling and casual sitting, that demand some pre- and post-event lubrication.
