This neighborhood fave right off the Bedford L stop is a great place to catch a local band before or after a trip to the park. There’s no cover, and catching small-fry acts called, say, The Yoko and Joe Mamma's can be pretty amusing. Spike Hill’s grub is a few steps above regular bar food, and the kitchen is open until 2 a.m. (Thursday-Saturday) so you can grab a greasy burger to medicate your impending post-Pool hangover. High-backed wood booths and a little too much Guinness flair lends an unauthentic pub-ish vibe, but Guinness would taste good at San Loco if you were thirsty enough.
