Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail | sideBAR
Just as there’s no wrong way to eat a Reese’s, there’s no wrong way to drink this creamy concoction made of Frangelico hazelnut liqueur, DeKuyper butterscotch liqueur, Godiva chocolate liqueur, Creme de Cocoa and a splash of Bailey's. Though it’s traditionally served straight, request one of the various complementary rims: great gobs of Nutella highlight the hazelnut flavor, while one done up with chocolate sauce lends more depth to the rich chocolate backbone of this milky, peanut-flavored drink. By double-dipping with both a Nutella and chocolate sauce rim, it truly resembles the salty-sweet flavor of a peanut butter cup. And the lip-licking chocolate casing combo creates a consistently smooth follow through. ($12)
Candy credibility: 4 stars. Just as the Nutella and chocolate sauce rims enhance the cocktail’s nutty chocolate flavor, they also make for a messy, filling ordeal.
