An all-day Gatsby-esque gala to close out the summer

The Fall Jazz Age Lawn Party: An all-day, all-out, old-fashioned bash on Governors Island, with live music from Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra, delicious cocktails from St. Germain, a hat parade, a pie-recipe contest, a bathing beauty promenade, an antique motorcar exhibition and pretty much anything you can think of that one might do, see, drink or ogle in the 1920s. And it was gorgeous.

The second year in a row I have missed this with all intentions of trying to go. I heard it is a fantastic time and these pictures just echo that!
