The neighborhood known for [blah blah strollers] gets its first old-world cocktail bar in the form of The Sackett, a cozy and intimate 40-person spot between Fourth and Fifth Aves., evoking the past with golden wallpaper, exposed brick, French doors and antique décor. It also evokes (exists in?) the bargain-minded present, with four beers on tap ($5 each) and a handful in bottles, as well as several wines ($6) and five specialty cocktails ($8-$9), including the signature Sackett, made with Johnny Walker Red, Disaronno, Cointreau and orange bitters.
