Checking out the new openings around the city
Bringing you what's shiny and new in the NYC drinking world.
Dumbo: A subterranean Dumbo location for the tapas pioneer with the strange name, ñ
Prospect Heights: Eco-friendly football-watching. Like, organic beers. The owners of Woodwork in Prospect Heights are onto something new.
East Village: The inexplicably named U2 Karaoke (no Irish rockers!) takes over the beloved former Kim's Video space on St. Marks
Gramercy: Ping-pong club Spin has spun-off an in-house eatery, Ducks. A double serve: ping-pong balls and cocktails!
Lower East Side: For downtown partiers: a pre- or post-party crepe, local beer or wine at swanky candle-lit Lea.
Lower East Side: Pricey bottle service, gauzy curtains and plush leather banquettes scream "swanky!" at Cloak Lounge (pictured).
