Brooklyn celebrates Derby Day with fields of seersucker, vats of bourbon and so, so many outrageous hats

Never one to miss an opportunity to play crazy dress up, Brooklyn was in fine Southern form on Saturday at The Bell House's packed and awesomely fun Kentucky Derby Party, where the gents were mind-blowingly dapper in their seersucker suits and the ladies were breathtakingly weird in their ridiculous hats. (Where do these hats even come from? Online?) Anyway, there were juleps, there was music, there were My Little Ponies glued to women's heads, and for a couple minutes there were actual horses (on TV). It was like a magic portal to Kentucky. Giddyup!
