It may seem as if Soviet-themed gay bars are becoming oddly commonplace around the city, but this bi-level Hell’s Kitchen spot might be considered a cut above the rest, as it's helmed by Vlada von Shats, owner of the Russian Samovar. Expect plenty of cute clientele to cruise, leather seating, an ice-lined bar and an upstairs performance space reserved primarily for shows of the drag variety. The house’s standout feature is the 15 house-infused vodkas whose all-natural flavors range from plum and cranberry to garlic, coriander and ginger, to name a few.
