Another gorgeous day, another rooftop to visit. Glass, located on the top floor of the Hotel Indigo, is the latest up-in-the-air drink spot to open their doors. Upper Chelsea doesn't have a lot going on; the few blocks around this area are a no-man's land for bars. This swank penthouse is a welcome addition to the scene, with beautiful views of the Empire State Building (and not-so-beautiful ones of Penn Station). True to its name, it's decked out with frosted glass panels. They also have comfy cushioned seat and an indoor area for intemperate days (and for wintertime—this penthouse is open year-round). Check out specialty drinks like their signature Blu Martini, and gobble up small plates from chef Roberto Bellissimo, who runs the hotel's restaurant Blu. Grab a spicy margarita and some chicken skewers with pistachio dipping sauce. You'll never want to come down from these heights.
