After making a splash with the stateside debut of his eponymous fine-dining restaurant, reality-TV hothead and renowned Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay brings New Yorkers a more casual alternative right next door. Outfitted with leather furniture in shades of vibrant blues and greens and infused with glass and silver detailing, the space has a cool, contemporary feel. Offerings include breakfast and afternoon tea throughout the day, with small plates and cocktails served at sundown. The succinct and reasonable menu—upscale twists on routine bar snacks—features highlights like hamachi tartar, chicken club with bacon, egg and tomato and tempura mussels with sweet chili mayo. The English-influenced house cocktails are expectedly pricey, with The London (fresh grapefruit, Plymouth gin and lillet, topped with Champagne) clocking in at $18.
