Oasis at Hotel Giraffe

Another swanky boutique hotel has opened its rooftop to upscale drinkers: Hotel Giraffe's Oasis lounge, a penthouse and open-air garden bar, serves specialty cocktails like the wildly fruity Oasis Punch (with rum; peach liqueur; lemon, cranberry and pineapple juices; and champagne) to its well-heeled clientele among hanging flowers, potted trees and cushioned benches. Oh, and a $30K black giraffe statue. A row of industrial-looking roof-mounted fans keeps the breeze blowing on even the most sweltering days.
