Spread throughout the five subterranean rooms that once housed the club Level V, the decidedly more neighborhoodish 675 Bar offers gentlemanly charm with a boyish twist; there's a Ms. Pacman arcade game in front of vintage wallpaper, a foosball table alongside fancy, wacky wall art, and a flat screen TV near a natty "library" full of color-coded books. (Although we're not sure where the full-sized porcelain horse with a lampshade on its head fits in.)
Drinks: Draught beers include Peak Amber Ale and Lagunitas Censored Copper Ale, the wine list was tailored by the world's youngest female master sommelier (control yourselves, gentlemen), and kookily named $10 specialty cocktails include the Karzai (bourbon and poppyseed) and the Beggerman Thief (cachaça, celery, Chartreuse). The short menu of hearty small- to medium-sized bites offers, among others haute/nostalgic snacks, kielbasa, fish and chips, proscuitto-wrapped hot pockets and whoopee pies (all in the $3 to $9 range).
Note: Entrance is on W. 13th St.
