China 1 Lounge

Evoking a sin-soaked opulent Chinese opium den, the semi-secret lounge below China 1 features carved wall panels, hanging lamps and clouds of velvet throw pillows in a blood-red world. Everything down here is red, reddish purple or reddish brown, except the neon blue fish tank separating the space like a see-through, fauna-filled flat-screen TV. To get in, go through the restaurant and head downstairs, where you'll find someone waiting to guide you to the lounge and potentially give you a strip of celluloid, redeemable for a drink at the bar. Drinks, like the Pomegranate Martini, are $10, and bottle service is available to all you high rollers.

Tuesdays through Thursdays, from 6 to 10 p.m., China 1's happy hour offers $2 sake, beer and cocktails with $15/person food purchase.
