Named after a Prohibition-era movement, Death and Co. recalls the days of speakeasies past with imposing wooden doors and a barely marked entrance. The theme continues inside with dim lighting, ornate chandeliers, Kerosene lamps and jazz tunes, as well as swankier accents like a marble-topped bar and dapper, bow-tied bartenders. Now that the buzz surrounding the joint has cooled down a bit, it's more accessible and easier to check out on a whim. Libations are a tad pricey, but they're expertly mixed.
