My roommate and friend was looking to have her 23rd birthday here one Friday night. She guaranteed 50-60 PEOPLE(all of who showed up) and was guaranteed to get bottle service! Not only that, but also every guest there with her party was willing to buy drinks at the bar as well. Here was the deal:

Females: Free before 1am
Males: Free before 12am

Here was the problem:
They would let NO ONE in who was of color, regardless of dress and regardless of if they were willing to pay to get in to the club, separate of my friends event. Come to find out, the owner himself said that he did not want more than 10% black people inside the club! If that is not ludicrous, then I do not know what is. They waited until AFTER 1am to even entertain the idea of letting us into the club, which they then told us that everyone would have to pay $20. Now, call me crazy, but if you have a plan/deal/package worked out with someone, and a person is willing to hold up their end of the bargain, then any properly run establishment would try to hold up their end of the bargain as well, right?

In total, he turned away at a minimum 50 people, bottle service, and at least $1000 in drinks at the bar.

To answer some questions that I know are going to be raised:
NO, we are not unnessesarily pulling the race card. The comment was UNDOUBTEDLY said by the owner, and it was without a DOUBT ONLY Black people that got turned away. Even the bouncers knew what was going on.

NO, we did not have timbs on, large chains on, baggy jeans, or anything of the sort.

I REFUSE to give my money to a business that would EVER be as ignorant, callous, and as racist as The Imperial. I truly do feel sorry for a place like this. And trust me, you WILL be seeing this post on other sites and newspapers.
