I’ve never done a write up before but felt the need to warn people after having a party at Kanvas this past Saturday night. Long story short - we got a 2 hour open bar for about 20 of my friends. Not only were we shoved into a corner w/another party of about 20-25 people, but unfortunately, the staff forced us to order from a waitress who was also getting drinks for at least 25 other people in another party. Each drink took about 20 minutes to get, forcing us to order another drink as soon as the waitress brought a round. The space provided was way too small and apparently management had “OVERBOOKED” the parties that night, putting my party in a position to have to move halfway through our party to another table --- next to the kitchen and busboy station… The only thing staff could tell us to compensate for the bad service and overbooking was to “…Come back on Monday or Tuesday and complain then!” NEVER AGAIN!
