This Ludlow Street bakery/record store/performance space has proven that a steep concept shall not deter all fickle New York hipsters—at least when executed properly, as proven by Cake Shop’s imaginative booking and hard-to-find vinyl offerings. The sound can be absolutely miserable at times, so bring earplugs for the shows when louder certainly does not mean better.
