Where's the warning label outside this diminutive LES hotspot? If you suffer from claustrophobia, can't handle awfully hot temperatures and enjoy occasionally sitting down, avoid bOb, where DJs spin hip-hop, top 40, R&B and reggae deep into the night. It's dimly lit, which makes it a bit tough to figure out just who's rubbing against you. But after enough drinks and enough sweat, you may not care—bOb's notorious singles scene is alive and well. Arrive early in the evening for a more staid lounge atmosphere before the party scene erupts and transforms the bar for the duration.
