Buttermilk Bar
The physical structure of this warm Park Slope favorite blends into its surroundings like a chameleon—its façade expertly keeping with the worn and weathered look of Fifth Avenue as one travels southbound. Inside is only slightly more gentrified, with new locals swilling cheap brews and selecting emo and indie tracks from the contemporary jukebox at a quarter a play. And, as if following a chapter of any hipster handbook, the bar also has amassed a host of old-school board games like Connect Four to add a little ironic entertainment.
